Hey Lorie,
I wish I could tell you how strong the connection is between Mei and her Daddy. It's evident in the pictures, but so much more in person. She is interacting with me some now but she still wants to make sure David is there at all times. I think she is starting to trust that he is not going to leave her and will go with me to the dessert tray to pick out something sweet after we eat. It's a routine now and she remembers. She doesn't forget anything. Sooooooo smart. She got mad at me last night because I took her bottle of babywash and put it on the shower shelf. I gave her the baby lotion bottle and showed her that I had one too. She had to have both of them and carries them with her everywhere. She kept giving me that Kaitlyn look! I put neosporin on her legs at night and then she puts her lotion on the same boo boo's. They aren't bad and don't seem to bother her. After her bath and playing a while, I go back to my room and she and David play and get ready for bed. It took about one day to learn if she sticks out her bottom lip she gets whatever she wants. We decided she needed to get what she wants for a change. By the way, she loves, loves, loves shoes!!! She doesn't have much to do with baby mei but I haven't pushed it. Maybe she will love her later. She is so friendly with people and looks at her photo book every night. She says all of the boys names (or repeats them after we say them) but she always points to your pictures and says Mama. Except the one with the baseball hat on..........she looks at us like You Crazy! We are getting ready to go site seeing so I will take lots of pictures. I just wanted to give you a brief note of my own. She is so precious and I love her as much as the others. She was ours from the start and we can feel it. Love, June
